Facilities Study Update: Mark your calendar

In May of 2011, The RSU5 Board of Directors supported the creation of the Freeport High School Facilities Study Advisory Committee to consider the safety, accessibility and appearance of the school. In August the committee’s charge was amended to include the capacity and utilization of the existing building to accommodate growth and evolving programs needs

This fall RSU5 secured the services of the architectural firm Portland Design Team (PDT), to develop a master plan to address identified needs. Public input and participation in the development of a master plan is essential.

Another meeting will be held at the Pownal Elementary School on Tuesday, January 24^th at 6:30 pm. A presentation to the Durham community is also planned.
